New appearance of the e-Balík

GLS has recently undergone a change in its logo and overall visual identity. The appearance of the e-Balík web portal was changed as well.

The new improved e-Balík is now optimized for mobile devices and the layout corresponds to the most common needs of users and modern trends. The structure of the portal remained unchanged.

Change of transport conditions

Due to the increase in energy, fuel and labour costs, we are forced to adjust transport charges within the Czech Republic and abroad.

The price increase will also be reflected in the GLS Courier Pick-up service. On the other hand, we are rapidly favouring the Delivery to the ParcelShop with final price from 54 CZK incl. VAT. The last change is the modification of the weight categories, including a reduction in the maximum weight of the parcel for handing over and delivery to the GLS ParcelShop.

From 1 April 2022 it is possible to use the GLS ParcelShop for shipments with a maximum weight of 10 kg. We believe that you will understand the new setting of business conditions and continue to take advantage of the e-Balík.

Implementation of GLS ParcelShop

We offer you a reduction in the transport costs and your customers the possibility of conveniently picking up the parcel in any GLS ParcelShop that the recipient chooses in advance.

In order to be able to offer your customers this service, just implement this service in your e-shop according to the instructions HERE.

There are already around 1000 ParcelShops in the Czech Republic!

Every day, new GLS pick-up points are opened for your parcels, which bring the following main advantages:

• Picking up and dropping off according to your own time needs.
• Picking up and dropping off takes place quickly without waiting in line.
• Always in easily accessible shops with ideal opening hours.

We try to cover municipalities across the Czech Republic with our ParcelShops.

Parcel limits for pickups

Dear Customer,

as a result of the current situation regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and with the Christmas holidays approaching, there is a significant increase in demand for parcel carrier services.

For this reason, we are forced to introduce a limit on parcel deliveries to a maximum of 10 parcels/day. Submission parcels for transport to the GLS ParcelShop network remains unrestricted.

SMS and e-mail notifications are fully free

Now not only is the e-mail notification free, but also the previously charged SMS for CZK 5 will now be free.

We will continue this strategy in the future and we ask for a compensation of only CZK 1 for better service. This will be appreciated by your recipient, who will be sufficiently informed.
